The cast of Housefull 4 - Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Chunky Panday, and Kriti Kharbanda commenced their 'Housefull 4 Express' rail journey on a special promotional train travelling from Mumbai to Delhi on Wednesday. (All Pictures: Yogen Shah/PR)

Akshay Kumar looked very enthusiastic about the train journey. He took along his daughter Nitara with him for the promotions. While the Khiladi star looked dapper in his black printed t-shirt and blue pants, Nitara looked cute as a button in her black t-shirt and military printed leggings.

The Housefull 4 girls made a lasting impression on the fashion police. Pooja Hedge looked cutest of the lot, donning a green top and denim jacket. Housefull 4 is a reincarnation comedy with each of the actors having two avatars in the film. First, from the ancient period of 1419 and secondly their modern-age character from 2019. The story that started 600 years ago will finally get completed in 2019.

Kriti Sanon was twinning with Pooja in the denim department. Her white t-shirt and black sunglasses further enhanced her attire.

Bobby Deol also joined the star cast in the promotions. In Housefull 4, Bobby plays Dharamputra and Max, and it has been a while since we saw the actor dabble with the genre of comedy. The Soldier actor was last seen in the third installment of Yamla Pagla Deewana.

Chunky Panday donned a white checkered shirt for the promotions. The fourth installment of the franchise will see the actor playing the iconic character of Aakhri Pasta.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala's wife Wardha Nadiadwala also joined the promotion team. Speaking of the initiative, Sajid said, "I'm extremely delighted to hear about this great Initiative by the government and the Indian Railways. This coming together of the industry on-board the wheels will chart new paths and will mark new horizons as a greater contribution to arts, culture and the history of India. The entire cast is excited about this whole new experience."

Akshay Kumar too shared his excitement about the journey. He said, "This is a new idea, the Indian Railways has started this looking at our culture, to promote the culture. You can book the entire train and promote it throughout. I think it is a great idea, along with Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios, they came up with an idea that we can do something like this and we got the permission very fast and here we are. It's a great idea, which is gonna be fun.

Set to release on October 25, Housefull 4 will lock horns with Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy's Made In China and Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar's Saand Ki Aankh at the box office. We wish the Housefull team best of luck.
