Zeenat Aman deserves to be celebrated, and after making her Instagram debut, she has only given us more reasons to cherish her and her knowledge. On her birthday today, it only seems fitting to talk about her and how she can be savage, impart knowledge, and much more with her words. Her Instagram posts are one of the rare things to read where people don't go saying TLDR.

Zeenat Aman, naam hi kaafi hai! The actress took to a lengthy social media post and laid out rules to engage with her posts and things that one 'shall and shall not' do. Mentioning the rules, she wrote, "If we are to continue this relationship on Instagram, then I must lay bare my rules of engagement. I've learnt that every healthy relationship requires boundaries and here are mine."

At a time when brands and designer labels have become all the hype, Zeenat's post spoke about how there's no pressure to do so. There shouldn't be any because her clothes are also borrowed, and jewellery is loaned. Her post read, "I'll take this opportunity to let you in on a secret too. Most of the fancy designer outfits that I wear to such occasions are borrowed. The jewellery I have on was loaned to me by Vimal from Argentum. And this powder blue sharara was sent to me by my dear friend Mohini Chabria. It will be dry cleaned and returned. I'm sharing this because I don't want young people to feel pressured to buy new outfits or spend beyond their means just because they see celebrities in designer clothes."
In one of her posts, Zeenat also spoke about making headlines and how her phase of subscribing to glossies and tabloids passed quickly because she could not relate to the person they presented her as. She wrote, "If the headlines were to be believed, in 1979 I had cursed myself, in 1982 I was being picked on, in 1984 I was out of sync, in 1985 I was marching towards self-destruction, and in 1998 I was shattered!"
Trust Zeenat to dish out words that you will later relate to. In one of her posts, she shared things she spoke about while attending an event. A part of her post read, "See, life is messy. One day you can receive a compliment about your poise, and the next day you can spill chilli oil on your Sunday best!"
