Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa holds a special place in the history of Indian cinema. As the sequel is on floors, the fever of the prequel is yet to subside. Amid the endless fan craze for the songs of Pushpa: The Rise, cricketer David Warner was seen replicating Allu Arjun's signature step from the song Srivalli.
During one of the World Cup 2023 matches, Warner couldn't resist himself from dancing on the field. When Srivalli was played during the match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, the ace cricketer shook a leg and surprised thousands of spectators.

Not just this, David also did a Pushpa-style celebration after taking a catch to dismiss Abdullah Shafique in the 12th over off Sean Abbott's bowling.
With Pushpa, Allu Arjun became the first actor to win a National Award in the Best Actor category from the Telugu film industry. He won the Best Actor award for the thriller. Mythri Movie Makers, the production house of Pushpa shared the video of the team's celebration and wrote, "Maverick director @aryasukku and our producers #NaveenYerneni garu and #RaviShankar garu shower their happiness and love on Icon Star @alluarjun for becoming THE FIRST ACTOR FROM TFI to win the BEST ACTOR at the National Awards."
Devi Sri Prasad won the Best Music Director award at the National Film Award for Pushpa's music. He exclusively shared with Mid-Day, "I'm incredibly honoured to receive this esteemed award for Pushpa. Composing for Pushpa was both challenging and fulfilling. Special thanks to director Sukumar and congratulations Allu Arjun for his phenomenal performance. My Producers Mythri Movie Makers, lyricists Chandrabose, entire singers, and technicians." DSP further added, "This is dedicated to all Pushpa fans and music lovers."
Pushpa: The Rule, which is the sequel, will be releasing on August 15, 2023. It is expected to clash with Rohit Shetty-Ajay Devgn's Singham Again. Sharing the news, renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), "THE WAIT IS OVER⦠âPUSHPA 2' ON INDEPENDENCE DAY 2024⦠Team #Pushpa2 finalises the release date⦠Will arrive in 'cinemas' on [Thursday] 15 Aug 2024."
