Shahid Kapoor has been taking the utmost precautions while travelling. He was spotted at Mumbai airport wearing a face mask, a pair of sunglasses, and a thick face shield making him unrecognisable. The spike in virus cases has made Sasha set an example for the need to cover up.

On the work-front, Kapoor has a web-series coming up directed by the duo Raj and DK. He also has the Jersey remake up. The film, also starring Sasha's father, Pankaj Kapur, and Mrunal Thakur, chronicles the story of a talented but failed cricketer who decides to return to the field. The sports drama releases during Diwali on November 5. It is clashing at the box office with Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historical, Prithviraj, starring Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar. In the movie's Hindi remake, Shahid will be seen essaying the role of a cricket player. He had recently wrapped up shooting for the film.

Shahid Kapoor ringed in his 40th birthday in February this year and received a plethora of warm wishes from the film industry on the occasion. To celebrate the 40th birthday of the 'Kabir Singh' actor, Bollywood celebrities took to social media and poured in birthday wishes for the star. Born to the renowned Indian film actors Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azeem, Shahid Kapoor made his Bollywood debut with his 2003 romantic comedy Ishq Vishk, for which he won a Filmfare Award for 'Best Male Debut'.

Kapoor had also appeared as a background dancer in a few films of the 1990s and was later featured in music videos and television commercials. H has also delivered several successful films like 'Kabir Singh', 'Jab We Met', 'Kaminey', 'Padmaavat' and more.
