Actor Saif Ali Khan returned home with his wife and actor Kareena Kapoor from the hospital after undergoing tricep surgery on Tuesday. The news had sent a wave of shock throughout his fanbase.

Saif had to undergo surgery for an old injury that he sustained while performing an action sequence for his latest film. Videos captured by Mumbai-based paparazzi showed Saif wearing a blue T-shirt and jeans, with an arm sling supporting his injured elbow. Kareena and Saif were also seen waving at paparazzi waiting outside their residence.

The 'Hum Tum' star was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. On Monday, Saif, in an official statement, said, "This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern."
In the coming months, he will be seen sharing screen space with NTR Jr. and Janhavi Kapoor in 'Devara'. The film is directed by Koratala Siva and has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in Om Raut's Adipurush, made a return to Koffee with Karan's couch recently. The actor was accompanied by his mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, who spilled spicy secrets about the Pataudi Nawab.
On the personal front, Saif Ali Khan was married to Amrita Singh before Kareena Kapoor. While discussing it on the Koffee couch, Sharmila Tagore revealed that the actor married Singh without informing anybody. The actress shared, "I was visiting Mumbai so Saif came to me and said I have something to tell you and then he told me. And then of course... I don't know what I was doing but I was quite and he says, Amma, your colour is changing, you're looking different ' and I said, 'Okay, we'll talk about it later. And then when he left I ran up to Tiger and told him. There was also a long silence on that part and then we left it at that and I said, I would like to meet her. "
To note, Saif and Amrita have two kids together, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. The two actors co-parent their kids. While Sara Ali Khan is one of the most loved actresses, Ibrahim is yet to make his Bollywood debut. According to reports on Pinkvilla, Karan Johar is all set to produce a rom-com for Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Boney Kapoor's daughter, Khushi Kapoor.
