Vijender Singh
India top professional boxer Vijender Singh, 32, posted this picture with son Abir riding on his broad shoulders on Twitter yesterday.
"Whoever you may be, wherever life leads you, you are always a mom's child, a dad's dream, a family's future and heart of your friends. Be da best of it. #SundayFunday," he captioned his post.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics bronze medal-winning boxer shuttles between Manchester, where he does his training, and Delhi, where his family resides, so this quality time with his son is much cherished.
Meanwhile, news from the ring suggests Vijender could be back for his next fight in April. He is undefeated in 10 out of 10 pro bouts so far and has risen to sixth place in the latest WBO rankings in the super middleweight category.
