The trailer of Shoojit Sircar's film, October, starring Varun Dhawan and debutante Banita Sandhu has been striking the right chords with the audience. The curiosity finally ended as the film's trailer was unveiled today at a suburban theatre. The actor makes sure he launches the trailer of his every film in that particular multiplex's auditorium as he considers it to be his lucky charm.
October's trailer comes as a breath of fresh air amidst remakes, biopics, and high-octane action films. Varun Dhawan is seen as a sweet yet playful lad trying his luck to foray into the hospitality industry. He essays the character of a hotel management student, who is working in a five-star hotel as a trainee. Varun's profession plays a very integral part to his character and environment in the film, which shapes up the events that follow.

Speaking of his excitement of working with Shoojit Sircar, Varun said that his mother always wanted the duo to work together, and she is the most elated to see this association blooming fruitfully. The actor's mother accompanied him to the trailer launch.
A revelation made at the trailer launch was that Varun was the last one to be cast for October.
Two days prior to the film's trailer release, the actor had posted, "October is not a movie about love at first sight. It's not a movie about hugs, kisses and dates. You want to know what's it about, then watch the trailer in two days."
With the aim to give a sneak peek into the world of October, actor Varun Dhawan went live on all his social media handles on Monday to talk about his experience of working in the film. Varun along with Sircar and Banita did a live session on his Facebook and spoke about the reaction to the trailer, and then will head towards Sophia College For Women here in the evening and will go live on Instagram.

The teaser of the film also starring debutante Banita Sindhu is refreshing! The teaser sans any dialogue captures nature's beauty. Lead actors Varun and Banita, who are lost in their own thoughts speak a lot about their mood and totally gives the love story feels. Varun shared the teaser on Twitter and wrote that this film is the closest to his heart.
Shoojit Sircar's unique take on love will make you wonder about the beautiful journey of life and relationships.
Also, Varun Dhawan is looking forward to introducing his October co-star Banita Sandhu to everyone and is helping her get ready for her Bollywood journey. The actor has been very protective about Banita and has been giving her all kind of tips for the trailer launch on Monday. "Banita is just 20 years old and does not know much about how the media functions here," Varun said in a statement to IANS.
"She doesn't have a manager so Shoojit dada and I just want to make sure she gets the best and is comfortable cause meeting the massive media and paparazzi can be very overwhelming," he added. Co-produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, October is directed by Shoojit Sircar. The film celebrating love, nature and the autumn season will release on April 13, 2018.
