Varun Dhawan has always spoken about his love and fondness for WWE one too many times. His favourite has always been Dwayne âThe Rock' Johnson. But he has other favourites too. One of them is Triple H.
The WWE Superstar announced his retirement at the recently concluded Wrestlemania 38. After an illustrious career spanning 27 years, he hang his boots. Dhawan shared a video with fans on Instagram where he could be seen having a conversation with 'The Game' and also wrote a caption to express his excitement.
He wrote- "Thank you hhh @tripleh @wwe. One of my all time favourite wwe superstars hung up his boots at wrestlemania. I was fortunate enough to meet him talk to him about my love of pro wrestling and the rock."
Triple H made his debut in 1995. He has a long list of achievements in his kitty. He's the former and the first ever World Heavyweight Champion, former WWE Champion, a 2-time Royal Rumble winner, and much more. Some of his most noted and notorious rivalries in the company were with Shawn Michaels, Batista, Randy Orton, Kevin Nash, Goldberg, and John Cena.
Coming to Varun Dhawan, he's set to grace this year's IIFA Awards. As Bollywood gears up for the upcoming edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), actor Varun Dhawan, speaking at a media event here on Monday evening, recollected his favourite moments from the past editions of the award show.
The 'Main Tera Hero' actor said: "My best memory from IIFA happens to be one with Salman sir when we performed together on stage. And to tell you the truth, it wasn't a planned gig." Salman Khan will host IIFA, which will be organised at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on May 20-21, along with Riteish Deshmukh and comedian-TV presenter Manish Paul.
