Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon
Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon got a well-deserved break in late April after wrapping up the extensive schedule of 'Bhediya' in Arunachal Pradesh. Almost two months since, it's back to the world of the werewolf for the duo as director Amar Kaushik of Stree (2018) fame plans to kick off the final schedule by the month-end.
"A set is being constructed in Mira Road for the upcoming leg. Amar will resume his place behind the camera by June 26 to lead the seven-to-10-day schedule. The shoot, which will include the filming of a song, will be conducted with minimal crew," reveals a source. While shoots were suspended in mid-April and May due to the junta curfew imposed in the state, the horror comedy did not bear its brunt. The source adds, "The director wanted the team to have a sufficient break between the two schedules, and hence, had slotted the Mumbai schedule only for June-end. The lockdown had no bearing on our plan." The horror comedy sees Dhawan reuniting with Sanon after 'Dilwale' (2015).
Maddock Films, the studio backing the project, remained unavailable for comment.
