Ahead of its exciting world premiere, Toofaan unveiled an anthem that will boost your energy through the roof. Sung by the very talented Sidharth Mahadevan, penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, the title track surely raises the bar. Motivating, powerful and a definite knockout, the song will unleash the storm within you!
Presented by Amazon Prime Video in association with Excel Entertainment and ROMP Pictures. Toofaan is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar, the sports drama is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Toofaan is all set to premiere worldwide on 16 July, 2021 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in English and Hindi.
The sports drama co-starring Mrunal Thakur is themed around boxing. "We are extremely fortunate to get a world release on the day and date. Normally when an Indian film is released, it goes around the world, we release it in 500 to 600 prints if it's a big film. Here, it is going to 200 countries to 240 territories. It will be seen in 86 million households. They will have to choose to see it but there is a possibility of your work crossing the border," says Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, the director of the film.

"In terms of the experience, yes, it will be a completely different experience. When you see it in the theatre, it's a captive audience, but when you are at home and watching it with your family, the remote is always in your hand. You can pause or skip the channel. It becomes very important that you grab the audience in a way that they become captive even if they watch it on a smaller screen," he says.
