Bollywood fraternity has been encouraging every player who has been representing India at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Be it Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who has been enjoying all the Indian matches from her foreign home to actors from the film industry, many have extended their support and cheered for the Indian contingent at Tokyo Olympics 2020. As Indian Men's Hockey Team won bronze, celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sunny Deol, Abhishek Bachchan, Tamannaah Bhatia, and others, have shared their excitement on social media, congratulating the team.
Shah Rukh Khan posted on Twitter about how exciting the match was; in case you missed it, the actor played the character of a hockey coach for the women's team in the film' Chak De India' which was a blockbuster hit.

For the unversed, India defeated Germany 5-4 in a high-intensity goal fest to win the bronze medal in men's hockey, their first medal in hockey at the Olympics after a gap of 41 years. India fought back brilliantly from a two-goal deficit to score an impressive 5-4 win that reminded its fans of the glory days when the Indians were a force to reckon with in World hockey.
Simranjeet Singh scored two goals while Harmanpreet Singh, Rupinderpal Singh, and Hardik Singh scored a goal apiece for India while for Germany Oruz, Furk, Nicolas Whellen, and Windfeder were on target.
