Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani
Known for creating awareness about Covid-19 protocols through quirky posts, Mumbai Police urged citizens to remain indoors by taking potshots at Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. On Wednesday, the two were booked for allegedly flouting safety guidelines. The rumoured couple was found driving around Bandra Bandstand, and could not give a valid reason to the cops for being out of their homes late evening.
A day later, the Mumbai Police used the titles of their films to reiterate the need to stay safe. "In the ongoing âWar' against the virus, going âMalang' on the streets of Bandra cost dearly to two actors, who have been booked under Sections 188, 34 IPC by the Bandra police station. We request all Mumbaikars to avoid unnecessary âHeropanti', which can compromise on safety against Covid-19," the tweet read. Shroff featured in War (2019) and Heropanti (2014). Disha was seen in Malang (2019). Here's a look at the tweet:
In Mumbai, some restrictions were relaxed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) after the city recorded a decline in COVID-19 cases. The civic body has so far allowed non-essential shops to operate between 7 am to 2 pm on alternate days from Monday to Friday for the next 15 days.
On the work front, Tiger Shroff has an interesting lineup of films. The actor has completed the first schedule shooting for the sequel of his 2014 debut movie 'Heropanti'. 'Heropanti 2' is slated for release on December 3 this year. Apart from Tiger, the sequel will also star Tara Sutaria in the lead role. The movie is being directed by Ahmed Khan, who also directed Tiger's last release, 'Baaghi 3'. The film's music will be composed by A R Rahman, with the lyrics penned by Mehboob. Apart from this, Tiger also has an interesting lineup of movies- 'Baaghi 4', 'Ganpath' co-starring Kriti Sanon in the pipeline. As for Disha Patani, she was last seen in Salman Khan's 'Radhe'. She will be next seen in Mohit Suri's âEk Villain Returns', which also stars John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria.
