Tiger 3: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif's romance gets Arijit Singh's voice in Ruaan

The countdown to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger 3 has begun and the audience is curious to know what will unfold on the big screen on Diwali 2023. As the anticipation peaks, the makers dropped in yet another tease by releasing only the audio version of the romantic song, titled Ruaan.

Yash Raj Films withheld the visual version of the song, allowing the audience to enjoy it on the big screen on November 12. Reportedly, Ruaan comes at a crucial point in Tiger 3 and releasing it beforehand could spoil the impact and its essence.

Director of Tiger 3, Maneesh Sharma revealed in a statement, "Tiger and Zoya are on a much more personal and intense journey in this film, and Ruaan gives voice to that. The way it's picturised in the film, we really wanted to keep such main story plots, the way they are meant to be experienced - in the cinema, in the moment."

Ruaan reunites Salman and Arijit Singh. After the party song, Leke Prabhu Ka Naam, the duo teamed up for yet another track from Tiger 3 which is proving to be a treat for music lovers. Talking about collaborating with Arijit and holding the song deliberately, Maneesh said, "Knowing that we have this soulful song sung by Arijit Singh, picturised on Salman Khan, and taking a decision to withhold it - it's been tough!"

He added, "But we know that at the end, when you hear Ruaan in the context of the story you will know that we did the right thing! We feel it is a huge, huge moment and it will add to the excitement around Tiger 3 on release day."

The advance booking window opened for the public on Sunday. According to renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh's data, Tiger 3 sold 56,100 tickets for the first day. The final booking data is yet to be locked. His tweet read, "#Xclusiv… #Tiger3 advance booking status at 'national chains'… Note: [Sunday] Day 1 biz… #PVRInox: 47,000 #Cinepolis: 9,100 Total: 56,100 tickets sold… 7 days to release."

Tiger 3 also stars Emraan Hashmi. It will release in Hindi along with dubbed versions in Telugu and Tamil.
