The makers of Tiger 3 dropped Katrina Kaif's first look from Salman Khan's upcoming Diwali offering, yesterday. The first female spy of the YRF Spy Universe, Kat's Zoya continues to match Salman's character Tiger in combat and strategy. Proud to play the character, Kat says, "Zoya is fierce and courageous. She is all heart, loyal, protective, nurturing, and above all, she stands up for humanity every single time." Elaborating on her stuntbaazi in Aditya Chopra's production venture, Kat says, "We wanted to take the action sequences to the next level this time and I have pushed my body to breaking point for the film and people will see that. Physically this has been my most challenging film yet." Having been a fan of the action genre, she doesn't hide her excitement about doing action in front of the camera. Calling Zoya a dream come true, Kat adds, "Zoya is strong, gutsy, badass and no holds barred! She is the yin to the yang of Tiger."

Fraud ho gaya!

Aftab Shivdasani lost Rs 1.50 lakh from his bank account after he became a victim of a fraud. It all happened when he clicked on the link he got in a text message recently and followed the subsequent instructions, which resulted in the money getting debited from his account. Following his branch manager's advice, Faffy filed a complaint with the Bandra Police Station. The cops are investigating the matter.

For a cause

mid-day recently reported that Neha Dhupia is making her OTT debut with a family comedy (Humour me, Oct 5). On the occasion of World Mental Health Day yesterday, she shared some information about what makes this new beginning special. Alongside a picture of herself holding the script, she wrote, "What a great day it is to share this… on World Mental Health Day. What I hold in my hands is a family drama that deals with mental health. Just us, trying to make a difference through the stories we tell."

Jackky's b'day note for Rakul

Rakul Preet Singh turned a year wiser yesterday. Her film producer-beau Jackky Bhagnani shared a special social media post. Alongside a collage of their memories together, he wrote, "On your special day, I want to express my admiration for the one who always leaves me in awe. With you, every day feels like an incredible journey, and there's never a dull moment. You're more than just my companion; you're my confidant, my partner-in-crime, and the one who fills my life with love and laughter." He added, "On your big day, I wish you everything you have ever dreamt of, and more. May all your dreams come true because you only deserve the absolute best in life." The birthday girl replied, saying, "Aww! So much you typed! Thank you my love." Wonder what makes Rakul think Jackky can't type so much otherwise.

Rhea hits back at naysayers

Even as Thank You for Coming plays its first week in cinemas, Rhea Kapoor, who produced the film with Ektaa Kapoor, took to social media to blast a trade analyst whom she didn't name for ‘ranting' against the film. Conceding that she was told to not pay any attention to this particular individual despite his ‘dangerous hate-speech', Rhea stated, "You can imagine my disappointment when I learn that this person actually has some impact on the way our industry feels. How are we okay with this?" She reiterated that the intent of Thank You for Coming was clear from the very beginning. "To reject shame, reject your past traumas and embrace yourself just as you are." She concluded her post saying, "I won't walk this tightrope of what society is comfortable with me being anymore and for your sake, I hope you don't either."

Nushrratt is grateful

When she arrived in Mumbai from Israel on Sunday, Nushrratt Bharuccha was too distraught and shaken up to speak about rushing back in the wake of the terrorist attack on the middle eastern country by Hamas terrorists. The actor, who had gone to Israel to attend a special screening of Akelli at the Haifa International Film Festival, has now opened up about the ordeal in her social media posts. Nushrratt, who was moved into an accommodation in the basement when Hamas terrorists attacked Israel, not only recalled the tough times in a video post, but also shared a lengthy note detailing the uncertain times. "As someone who has barely escaped a war zone, I cannot be more grateful today...I'm back home and safe with my family and my loved ones. But with an experience that has made me immensely grateful for the safety and security that we almost take for granted." She added, "I am ever so grateful to Government of India, the Indian Embassy and the Israeli Embassy, for their help and guidance in bringing my team and me back safe. I would also like to thank each and every one of my well-wishers from the bottom of my heart for their wishes and prayers for my safety." She also hoped for the conflict to end soon and peace to prevail.
