Throwback: When Ranveer Singh wanted to set up Ranbir Kapoor with Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut has been once again making noise with her digs at Bollywood celebs. Of late she has been targeting actor Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and their marriage without dropping names through her Instagram stories. She claimed that the actor has been begging her to date him but she denied. Amid this an old video of Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh's appearance on Koffee With Karan has gone viral.

In the episode from 2016, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor had arrived as guests on Karan Johar's popular chat show 'Koffee WIth Karan'. During the rapid fire round, Karan asked Ranveer whom would he like to set up Ranbir with. Reacting to it, he named Kangana Ranaut. At that time, Ranbir Kapoor had just broken up with Katrina Kaif. He later went on to date Alia Bhatt who is now his wife.

In a recent post on her Instagram stories, Kangana indirectly dragged Ranbir Kapoor and Alia, and hinted how the actor begged her to date him. "Another superstar who is known to be a womaniser landed at my house and begged me to date him but kept meeting secretly to pursue me, when I questioned this shady behaviour he said he was getting a trilogy to date a papa ki pari who he didn't love, I was not ok with that and I said no to such a situation, he too started to communicate from various numbers and accounts till I blocked all and then I felt he hacked all my devices.... He even said his marriage was fake and baby is a trick of promote the movie .... I was beyond appalled... I still can't believe if anyone can be so morally corrupt, they aren't humans they are demons ...that's why I am determined to destroy them .... Dharma's main purpose is to destroy Adharma .... That's what Shri Krishna said in Geeta."

Two weeks back, Kangana had made several claims on Ranbir and Alia's marriage without taking their names in a blind item-like post. She took to her Instagram handle to call out a 'farzi' husband wife in the industry. She claimed that the couple is making fake movie announcements and also said that the wife and the daughter were "snubbed" during a recent family trip. From the post, fans guessed that the actress was hinting at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and the recent family trip for Neetu Kapoor's birthday which was not attended by Alia and her daughter Raha.

In another news, a farzi (fake) husband wife jodi, who live on separate floors and pretend to be a couple are spreading fake news about movie announcements which aren't being made also calling a brand owned by Myntra their own ... besides no one wrote about how wife and daughter was snubbed from a recent family trip, while so-called husband was texting me begging and pleading to meet him ....This farzi jodi needs to be exposed...".

She also added, "This is what happens when you marry for movie promotions/ money/ work and not for love ...this actor who married under the pressure of a mafia daddy was promised a movie trilogy in return for marrying papa ki pari, movie trilogy has been canned and now he is desperately trying to break free from the fake marriage... But sadly no takers for him now.... He must focus on his wife and daughter...this is India ek baar shaadi ho gayi toh ho gayi... ab sudhar jao."
