Swara Bhasker is currently busy with her upcoming projects and work commitments. The actress, who currently shifted to her newly renovated home, will be next seen in 'Mimamsa' a web show where she will once again play the character of a cop. Swara has been experimenting with her choices, and it seems like the actress is on roll. Swara will be seen playing the role of an investigating officer, Adhira Dixit for her next film, which will be a digital outing.
Swara, in an exclusive interview with mid-day.com, revealed some interesting facts about her new role in the digital outing Mimamsa. "Yes I've played a cop before in 'Flesh', well, I get offered a lot of ' tough' strong woman parts. I think it's always interesting to play the character in a way wherein places you play it against the writing - so find the moment where you can show the resilience of a shy and meek character; or the vulnerability of a strong character. I think 'Mimamsa' gave me a few such worthy moments."

Swara also mentioned why she chose to visit a psychologist for playing this character. The actress was quoted saying, "More than understanding criminal psychology I was interested in understanding what must happen to the psyche of cops and law enforcement- they are human after all. What does constant exposure to crime and brutality do to their mindset? What kind of coping mechanism do people adopt? What does that defence mechanism do to their personality? I tried to build my character from those insights."

On the work front, Swara was last seen in the short film 'Sheer Qorma' which also stars Shabana Azmi and Divya Dutta. For the unversed, the film is based on an LGBTQ+ theme and it narrates the story of love and acceptance, revolving around its leads. The movie is a love story set at the epicentre of a judgmental society that forms preconceived notions about sexuality and relationships and goes to scrutinise love based on gender.
The short film recently won the Equality in Cinema award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). Swara is currently shooting for the film 'Jahaan Chaar Yaar' along with 'Veere Di Wedding' co-star Shikha Talsania. Directed by Kamal Pandey, 'Jahaan Chaar Yaar' also features Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra.
