Shah Rukh Khan
There is no denying the influence of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan across the world. And his latest video promoting his film 'Dunki' sees him boast the same and rightfully so. King Khan as he is lovingly addressed in India is one of the most loved and respected artists from India across the globe. With a career spanning over three decades, his films have played a big role in popularising Indian cinema across the globe.
With Shah Rukh Khan's latest release 'Dunki' now streaming on Netflix the actor dropped a new promotional video. The video opens with him entering a visa office dressed in a black suit and goggles, looking dapper as ever. Actor Ashwin Mushran was seen playing the role of the visa officer. While SRK sways everyone with his entry, he has tough time pleasing the visa officer when he asks for a new single visa for 190 countries. When he is told that it is not possible, he lists his influence across the globe. The actor begins by informing the officer how every 'third guy in England is named Raj and now it is a new British Raj'. He also took a dig at Brexit saying, "UK jab Europe ko chodke jaa raha ta, toh Europe ne usko dekh ke bola 'Palat Palat, Palat'."
Further, Shah Rukh Khan said he is the one who taught South Koreans to share love and said, "Love you BTS" looking into the camera. Talking about his USA influence, he points at the TV in the room and points at the statue of liberty doing his iconic arms spread out pose. However, despite his effort, the superstar's visa gets rejected.
'Dunki' directed by Rajkumar Hirani was released in theatres in December. Also featuring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal, the movie's digital arrival follows its successful theatrical run, which began on December 21. The maiden collaboration between Shah Rukh and Hirani, Dunki's story revolves around a group of individuals who choose the âdonkey route' to emigrate to London from India.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan had a great year in 2023. The superstar, after a long hiatus of 4 years, released three films 'Pathaan,' 'Jawan' and lastly 'Dunki' which have all set records at the box office.
Earlier this month, Khan attended a greet and meet with fans in Mumbai. Taking to X, Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club shared a video in which King Khan said, "Because I have been working for 33 years and you take such a big gap. Normally you do feel a little nervous and you feel ki 'arrey yaar! I hope I have got the film right'."
"Usse pehle meri kuch filmein thi jo itni achi nahi gayi to mujhe ye bhi lagne laga tha ki main achi filmein ab bana nahi raha hoon. But I think, more than my films, ek pyaar tha logo ka..jo Pathaan ke liye, Jo Jawaan ke liye and jo Dunki ke liye..This whole country and people outside this country have actually taken me to their heart, more than the films, and have said that 'arrey yaar, 4 saal ke liye mat jaya karo. 2-4 mahine theek hai.' So I am very very thankful to all of you, to the audience and the whole world for making me realise 'jo main karta hu wo theek karta hoon aur mujhe wo baar baar karte rehna chahiye'," he added.
While he has not officially announced his next film, reports state that he has signed a film with Sujoy Ghosh that will also star his daughter Suhana Khan. The superstar's daughter recently made her debut with the film 'The Archies'.
