Sunny Leone hits back at her detractors over New Year's Eve show controversy

In what is said to be a response to the controversy over her New Year's Eve show in Bengaluru, Sunny Leone yesterday hit back at detractors.

The actor shared pictures of yesteryear stars like Sharmila Tagore, Dimple Kapadia, Rekha, Zeenat Aman and Madhubala in skimpy outfits and wrote, "A few women in Bollywood who have taught me that it's perfectly ok to be myself. (sic)."

After protests from fringe groups, the Karnataka government did not give permission to the show.
