The trailer emphasizes the importance of self-worth and the campaign 'Make in India' driven by Mamta and Mauji, who believe that no matter how hard the struggle is, eventually 'Sab Badhiya Hai' (Everything's good).
Take a look at the trailer here:
At the trailer launch, speaking about his decision of what interested him to play the character of Mauji, Varun Dhawan stated, "When I got the script, I didn't have any time to go any film. I told Aditya sir I don't have dates, I'm shooting for Kalank but when I read the script, I was bowled over. I love family films. I read this and I thought I cannot leave this film. I have to become Mauji. Roti ke laale pad gaye the but bahut kaam karvaya."
When asked about Anushka's character Mamta, the actress has a different take on it, "I said no to the film because I don't think that I can play Mamta, it's beside my personality. It's against my dream on another level. Sharat Kataria and Maneesh Sharma were extremely convinced that I'm the right fit for the role. I went with his faith in me more than my faith in myself. I'm so proud that I play this character."
