Sonu Sood, who has been actively helping people find resources as India battles the second wave of Covid-19, is all praises for his 'Paltan' co-star Gurmeet Choudhary, who too has come forward to provide aid for the people during the pandemic.
A fan shared a video, a compilation of Sonu Sood and Gurmeet Choudhary's footage from their public appearances together during the promotion of their 2018 film 'Paltan'. The song Bandeya Re Bandeya sung by Arijit Singh plays in the background. "You all are real heroes doing good in form of God in this world of sorrow. A big thank you to @gurruchoudhary @SonuSood and all the corona warriors for all the selfless service offered. #sonusood #gurmeetchoudhary #guruchoudhary #CovidIndia," wrote the fan on Twitter.

Responding to the fan, Sonu wrote, "So proud of my brother @gurruchoudhary for all the good work you have been doing. Keep bringing smiles"
Gurmeet Choudhary too replied to the fan's post. Here's what the actor tweeted:
While Sonu has been working selflessly for the needy since the first lockdown last year due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Gurmeet appears to have taken a leaf out of Sood's book. The latter has been relentlessly helping people ever since the second lockdown. Recently, Gurmeet visited Nagpur for his on-ground activity to help patients and launch a Covid dedicated hospital. He has also launched a free teleconsultation service for Covid patients who are isolated at home.
Gurmeet says the times are tough but he is able to help out because people know him as an actor. "Due to the celebrity factor, people take me seriously and that helps make the process quicker. We are currently at the level where the population is high and we don't have enough resources to cater to them. So, I am trying hard not only to build a better present but also to prepare ourselves for a bright future, especially in the health care system," he said, who launched a makeshift hospital in Nagpur for Covid patients earlier this month.
