Soni Razdan
Actor-director Soni Razdan says the "feeling of doing something" pushed her to her to join the Find A Bed initiative. Formed by India's International Movement To Unite Nations (IIMUN), the project aims at providing a one-stop solution to locate a bed at a COVID centre and has over 20,000 student volunteers across 160 cities.
"It is an important initiative that helps to isolate people, who do not require hospitalisation, in decent places. They have a huge database and a great system to get children involved. It is wonderful to know how student volunteers are helping during the pandemic," says Razdan, impressed by IIMUN's process of involving the youth.
Explaining how everyone can do their bit to battle the pandemic, she says that there are ways to volunteer and help people in need. "[The IIMUN will help coordinate], if you have a place which can be offered to people for isolation. Small things like this make all the difference," explains Razdan, who supports the cause along with Aahana Kumra and Tanuj Virwani.
