Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha in `Double XL`
Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi, the stars of 'Double XL,' recently appeared on Bollywood Bubble's Reel Buddies Season 2 to chat about their friendship. Their on-screen chemistry is being loved by fans. The two actresses recalled their first, rather unusual meeting - and it is definitely what you would expect!
Sonakshi shared her first encounter with Huma, saying that she initially thought Qureshi was trying overtly hard to be friends with her - "I think I met her at some award function, I thought she was damn chep (clingy). She kept coming to be my friend and I don't like talking to people so fast." Reacting to this, Huma said, "Sona has poor taste."
Sonakshi went on to add that she didn't appreciate the actress' clingy nature - "She was trying very hard to be my friend so I was very put off with her." Huma added, "Sona if I remember correctly, I was trying to give you life advice." Seems like Huma Qureshi was only trying to share some wise ways of the world with Sonakshi!
Sonakshi agreed and added that it was "which I didn't ask for so you gave me free ka advice for no reason without being asked." Huma added that although it was unsolicited advice, she was only trying to tell Sonakshi what's best for her! "Sonakshi has a problem as she doesn't know what's good for her. So, she takes time to pick up the good things in life because otherwise jab tak you don't hit her with something good, she doesn't see it. She's little blind. Paas ki nazar kam hai iski," she said. (She doesn't know what's good for her, she's a little short-sighted, metaphorically and perhaps literally as well?) Sonakshi then joked, "You hit me with a truck then."

Huma then said, "I always believed we could be good friends due to our similar vibes, and eventually, we did. Sona was just late in realizing the awesomeness she was missing out on." Sonakshi added, "I was practically obliged to spend time with her." It's a relief that Huma didn't give up on their friendship so soon! The pair's witty repartee was both hilarious and a testament to their strong bond.
Highlighting a moment, Huma recounted, "One day, Sonakshi woke up and pleaded 'Tu hi meri friend hai, mujhe chodke mat jaana kabhi please' - You're my only pal, promise you'll never abandon me."
