Rohit Shetty introduces Arjun Kapoor as antagonist in Singham Again
Rohit Shetty is not ready to let the audience catch their breath. The excitement around his upcoming film, âSingham Again', has reached new heights with the announcement of yet another actor joining the franchise. Earlier, there were rumours that Arjun Kapoor would be a part of Rohit Shetty's cop universe, not as one donning the Khaki vardi (police uniform) but as someone who would be the cause of sleepless nights for all the cops. Now, confirming this news, Rohit Shetty has announced Arjun Kapoor as the 'shaitaan' (devil) in his cop drama.
Taking to Instagram, Rohit shared the looks of Arjun Kapoor as the antagonist of his cop drama. The first picture in the post shows Arjun bathed in blood, sporting a villainous smile with a deadly weapon in his hand. The second picture depicts the best buddies of the film industry, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, going head on in the film. While sharing the poster Rohit wrote, "Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai...Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai! CAN I SAY - INTRODUCING ARJUN KAPOOR!"

Earling in an interview, while talking about his upcoming work, his father Boney Kapoor, said, "There are multiple things lined up (for Arjun) and he is happy about those subjects. He is on the threshold of a new kind of characterization. A film of Rohit Shetty was launched where he's the solo villain opposite Ajay Devgn. Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar are also in the film. It is Singham Again (Singham 3). Arjun is playing an antagonist for the first time. Let's see where the film takes him."
Singham Again went on floors on September 16 with Ajay and Ranveer. Sharing pictures from the muhurat puja, Rohit wrote, "Singham, Singham returns, Simmba, Sooryavanshi...12 Years ago, when we made Singham, we never thought that it would turn into a Cop Universe! Today, we begin filming Singham Again... the 5th film in our cop franchisee. ISME HUM APNI JAAN LAGA DENGE! BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI! (We'll give it our best, please shower love and blessings on us)."
