Shefali Jariwala
In a fun and quick tete-a-tete, mid-day.com takes you on a tour of actress Shefali Jariwala's wardrobe, as she spills the beans on her fashion favourites.
The most dramatic outfit I have worn
My most dramatic outfits are usually my stage performance outfits. Full of rhinestones and fringe and heavily embellished. Stage is always an exaggerated version of me and of course Bollywood. Hence all the drama.
The outfit I'm most comfortable in
I am most comfortable in sweat suits. You will find me wearing sweats most days, running errands or be it my airport outfits. They are so comfortable and functional.

My favourite Indian outfit
Most Indian outfits are my favourite salwar , suit , lehenga or sarees , they all are so beautiful . But I love wearing sarees, they make me feel really sexy and elegant at the same time. This saree is my favourite that I had worn on the occasion on Ganesh Chaturthi. I loved the colour and embroidery on it.
My favourite western outfit
When it comes to western outfits , I love a hood pair of denims. It's versatile, can easily team it with a vest, sweatshirt or kurti depending on my mood.
The trendiest outfit I own
I love a faux leather black jumpsuit I own. I have had it for sometime now, just wearing it with different shoes and accessories, gives me a new look every time.
What you will find me wearing at home
Pyjamas with Parag's T-shirt
My favourite holiday outfits
It has to be resort wear. I love beach vacations. Be it Goa or Maldives a good bikini with a functional cover up is my favourite holiday outfit.
The fashion trends I don't like
I don't follow fashion trends. Trends don't last. By refusing to follow trends I end up finding my own fashion identity. I love to experiment with outfits and wear what looks and feels good.
My go-to accessories
Layered necklaces. I can never have enough of them. It can make any dull outfit look exciting. Looks great over sweaters or plunging necklines. It can make a simple outfit look chic. It's a classic piece of jewellery that I will wear for years to come.
One celeb whose wardrobe I would like to steal from
I would love to steal Priyanka Chopra Jonas's wardrobe. I love her fashion forward style. I love the way she brings together fashion & functionality. Also, I see her wearing a lot of whites , which also happens to be my favourite colour.
One crazy fashion trend I might try
Maximalist fashion. I'm sure that will infuse some joy in my life in case we go into another lockdown.
