Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan is releasing in less than two weeks from now and the anticipation is at an all-time high. The action-thriller, directed by Atlee, will release in theatres globally on September 7. Amid the excitement for Jawan, the trailer will be premiered on August 31 in Dubai. The superstar confirmed the news and shared on Twitter that Jawan's trailer will be displayed on Burj Khalifa.
On Twitter, Shah Rukh announced, "Jawan ka jashn main aapke saath na manau yeh ho nahin sakta. Aa raha hoon main Burj Khalifa on 31st August at 9 PM and celebrate JAWAN with me. And since love is the most beautiful feeling in the world, toh pyaar ke rang mein rang jao and lets wear red...what say? READYYYY!"

According to KoiMoi's report, a special preview of Jawan's trailer was held yesterday at Red Chillies Entertainment's office in Mumbai. Karan Johar and Rani Mukerji were reportedly among the select few who got a chance to watch it before the world does. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani director shared a cryptic note on Instagram stories. He wrote, "I just saw the trailer of the century!!!!!!!" He added, "#iykyk (sic)."
Shah Rukh promoted his previous film, Pathaan, in Dubai. The trailer of the film was played on Burj Khalifa and the superstar was present at the location with the director, Siddharth Anand. Fans were in attendance too. Shah Rukh watched the trailer of Pathaan with fans on Burj Khalifa. He then danced to Jhoome Jo Pathaan with fans.
According to IMDb, Shah Rukh-Nayanthara's thriller makers have mentioned Karan Johar, Govind Bhana, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Yash. The reason behind the same hasn't been stated. Netizens believe they might be dubbing the Kannada and Malayalam versions of either the film or the upcoming trailer.
The advance booking of Jawan opened in select theatres in Mumbai and Thane. Despite the ticket prices being as high as Rs. 1100, fans went all out to purchase them. Early morning shows also sold out like hotcakes.
Jawan marks the Hindi debut of Nayanthara. Director Atlee, who is known to make massy cinema down South, will be making his Hindi directorial debut.
