'Scoop' actor Harman Baweja welcomes second child with wife Sasha Ramchandani

Bollywood actor Harman Baweja, who tied the knot with nutritionist Sasha Ramchandani in 2021 has been blessed with a second child. As per reports, they have welcomed a baby girl. The couple is already parents to a boy who was born in December 2022.

Harman, who worked with Priyanka Chopra in 'Love Story 2050' and 'What's Your Raashee?', also dated the actress for quite some time. He's the son of film director Harry Baweja and producer Pammi Baweja.

Harman and Sasha's wedding took place in Kolkata in a traditional Sikh ceremony. It was attended by Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, and Aamir Ali.

Harman was last seen in Hansal Mehta's streaming series ‘Scoop' which saw him shred his chocolate boy avatar and don the action role of Joint Commissioner of Police Harshvardhan Shroff (modelled after the late Mumbai top cop Himanshu Roy). Harman received rave reviews for his performance. The actor shined through the series and left the audience asking for more.

In an interview with IANS, Harman said that he was reluctant to do the part. Overwhelmed with the response received Harman said, "What can I say, sometimes things are meant to happen. I was genuinely reluctant to do the part, I was busy writing-producing films but it's hard to say no to a filmmaker like Hansal."

"I'm elated with the response and I'd like to thank all the critics and audiences who've shown their appreciation for my work."

Inspired by the book written by Jigna Vora, 'Behind Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison', ‘Scoop' is a character drama that traces the journey of Jagruti Pathak, an ambitious crime journalist. Her world comes crashing down when she is charged with the heinous murder of a fellow journalist, Jaideb Sen and ends up in a prison cell with those she once reported on.

Harman Baweja is actively writing and producing films under his banner, Baweja Studios. From the Hindi adaptation of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film, 'The Great Indian Kitchen' with Sanya Malhotra playing the lead to many more interesting projects lined up that are yet to be announced.

Harman is also reported to be playing the role of Vibhishan in Nitesh Tiwari's ‘Ramayana'.
