Nora Fatehi
The Moroccan - Canadian actress and dancer, Nora Fatehi's latest stint in Tanishk Bagchi's recreated version of Sushmita Sen's Dilbar has mesmerised the audiences worldwide. The song Dilbar was recreated for Milap Zaveri's Satyameva Jayate starring John Abraham. The song, which has Nora executing her amazing belly dance skills has broken records to become the first Indian song to reach on the third position on the Billboards YouTube charts.
The song, which was released on the social media platform last week has raced ahead of popular songs like Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's High Rated Gabru by Guru Randhawa from the film Nawabzaade. It has also surpassed Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor's Zingaat by duo Ajay-Atul from the soon-to-release Dhadak. In one week Dilbar has gotten to 76 million views!
High Rated Gabru has raked in 60 million views since its release, which was two weeks ago and Zingaat, unlike its original Marathi counterpart, has gotten 50 million views since its release.
Nora, who looks sizzling hot in the song, has won millions of hearts with her take on the iconic song and the numbers just seem to be growing. On seeing the love, Nora said, "This is incredible! I am honestly still in disbelief! This is what any artist dreams of and I am so relieved that everyone is loving my work in dilbar! I felt immense pressure and was very nervous but seeing the success of dilbar surpass such big songs makes me feel very humbled and grateful! I've been really waiting for something like this to happen."
