Salman Khan
A great opening scene often helps in building the graph of the protagonist, especially in an action film. Following Salman Khan's entry scene in Ek Tha Tiger (2012), the makers upped the ante with the sequel, Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Over six years since then, the makers are said to have gone a few notches higher with Tiger 3. Salman's 10-minute action-packed entry in the Diwali offering will "blow audience's minds," promises director Maneesh Sharma. Considering that the superstar has given cinegoers whistle-worthy moments over the years, Maneesh reveals that they had to create something unique for Tiger's third outing, co-starring Katrina Kaif as Zoya and Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist Aatish. "Some of our best action, stunts, grips and effects people came together to craft a 10-minute block that does justice to Tiger's introductory sequence, an entry that befits the super spy. This intro sequence is one of the highlights of the movie, which includes an exciting action sequence that reminds Bhai's fans exactly how cool Tiger is," says the director.

It has been widely reported that Hrithik Roshan has a cameo in Tiger 3. News is that he shot his part only last Saturday at YRF Studios. Excited to reprise his spy character, Kabir, he reportedly had a blast filming his scene. Apparently, Hrithik's two-and-a-half minute role revolves around Kabir's conversation with Colonel Luthra, played by Ashutosh Rana. As a result of this portion, Maneesh Sharma's directorial venture is now two hours and 36 minutes long. Last month, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had already cleared the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer, which initially had a run-time of two hours and 33 minutes. However, after Hrithik's scene was shot and edited, the makers again approached the Censor Board, which cleared the additional sequence recently.
Undeterred by the debacle of Tiger Shroff's Ganapath, producers Anand Pandit and Parag Sanghvi are making another action flick with him. Apparently, Pandit thought of the action star the moment he heard the subject. After hearing the narration of Shivam Nair's directorial venture, Tiger gave his nod. Currently preoccupied with director Jagan Shakti's next and Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, the actor is looking to begin Shivam's film in the second half of 2024.
We know that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt are gracing the couch for the upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan season 8. It is being said that it wasn't host Karan Johar's idea to get the two lovely ladies together. Rumour has it that in keeping with the theme of family this season, he wanted Bebo to shoot an episode with actor-husband Saif Ali Khan, and Alia with Ranbir Kapoor (whose opinion on the show resurfaced recently). Reportedly, the men weren't too gung-ho about the idea and suggested Bebo and Alia appear in an episode together. Industry insiders claim that the response to the jewellery commercial featuring the two B-Town leading ladies also got KJo thinking. Considering that Alia looks up to Bebo and they get along well, the filmmaker got them to share the couch for his chat show.
It's that time of the year when some or the other celebrity comes forward to bat for the cause of environment and animals. Wamiqa Gabbi, who is an animal lover, is calling for a more responsible and considerate approach towards celebrating Diwali. Urging people to be cautious and caring for the four-legged strays, the Jubilee actor says, "As an animal lover and advocate, I feel a deep empathy for the animals who experience distress during festivals like Diwali. I feel we should celebrate, with grandiose and fervour, celebrate with grandiose, fervour and compassion, while ensuring that our festivities do not inadvertently harm those who cannot speak for themselves." Appealing everyone to be mindful of any potential harm caused by noises and pollution, and to take proactive steps to minimise their impact, Wamiqa adds, "I have always strived to use my voice in whatever capacity through my platforms to make people realise that celebration and empathy during such times are both equally important."
Samantha had taken a health break after completing work on Raj-DK's desi version of Russo Brothers' Citadel with Varun Dhawan. Last seen in the Telugu romcom Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda, the actor has now taken off to Bhutan to focus on her well-being. Sam shared a series of pictures and videos from her getaway - of her trekking in the hills, meditating in a temple, and soaking in the sights with a couple of her friends. The actor is said to have shortlisted a few subjects, from which she is expected to finalise her next slate of projects after her return to the bay.
