Salman Khan is all set to unveil the trailer for his Diwali offering, Tiger 3, tomorrow. The actor, who returns as R&AW agent Avinash Rathore, aka Tiger, for the third time, shares that the action in Maneesh Sharma's directorial venture is "raw, realistic, and spectacular". "What I love about the Tiger franchise is that the hero is presented as the larger-than-life Hindi film hero who can take on an army of people with his bare hands. He is okay to shed blood and still keep standing till everyone around him is finished," he says. Asserting that the heroism of Tiger is in his taking the challenge head-on and not back down like the wild cat wouldn't retreat until the prey is hunted, Salman states, "The audience likes to see Tiger in action because they know they will get to see gritty and cool thrills. The trailer for Tiger 3 has some mad moments of outrageous action that people have not seen to date." The action thriller, which also stars Katrina Kaif, takes off from the narratives of Aditya Chopra's previous productions, War and Pathaan.

Real couple on screen soon

Failing once doesn't deter Karan Johar from getting what he wants. The director and chat show host has finally convinced actor-couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif to come together on Koffee With Karan season 8. The duo is set to create waves with their first appearance together on the couch. While audiences are looking forward to seeing Vicky and Kat's chemistry on screen, the low-key couple, who have so far avoided interviews, are said to recount how they got together in the first place. Slated to begin streaming on October 26, the show promises to be a delightful blend of revelations and candid moments.

The magic of movies

The 11th edition of the Jagran Film Festival continued to attract cinema aficionados this Saturday. In a conversation, Bobby Deol took a trip down memory lane and revisited his journey as an actor since his debut in Barsaat (1995). Bobby, who has piqued audiences' interest with a glimpse of his character in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, also spoke about the change in moviemaking over the years. Pulkit Samrat, currently riding high on the success of Fukrey 3, spoke about making his place in the industry as an outsider. The evening ended with the screening of Lamhe (1991), in tribute to the late filmmaker Yash Chopra, held in a packed auditorium.
