On Saturday, Bollywood stars reunited at the success party of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's Gadar 2. Right from Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan to Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Kartik Aaryan, and Ananya Panday, celebrities were with the team of the blockbuster film to celebrate its record-breaking box office figure. It was a red carpet event.
On the red carpet, Salman posed for pictures, flaunting his new look. The superstar was seen greeting Kartik. He hugged the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor and also clicked some pictures with him. Workwise, Salman was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which released on Eid this year. The actor is now gearing up for the release of Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif. The YRF spy-thriller will arrive in theatres on Diwali this year. Reportedly, Salman has been signed for Karan Johar's next film. It is said to be directed by Shershaah's director Vishnuvaradhan. Rumours are rife that the superstar will play the role of a paramilitary officer. Reports claim that the look he is currently sporting is for the yet-to-be-titled film. On the other hand, Kartik's last film was Satyaprem Ki Katha in June. Other films in his lineup include Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Chandu Champion and Aashiqui 3.
Gadar 2, directed by Anil Sharma, was expected to cross Rs. 500 crores in India. It released on August 11, 2023, and opened on a positive note despite negative reviews. The film also stars Utkarsh Sharma.
The success bash of Gadar 2 also saw the end of Sunny and Shah Rukh Khan's long-running feud. They weren't on talking terms for 16 years after the release of Darr in 1993. Shah Rukh tweeted about loving Gadar 2 during his Ask SRK session on X. Reacting to his feud with Shah Rukh, Sunny recently said in an interview with Times Now, "Shah Rukh Khan had seen the film. Before that, he had called me and wished me well. He was so happy, and he told me 'I'm so happy, you genuinely deserve it' and I said thank you. Then I spoke to his wife (Gauri Khan) and his son (Aryan Khan). And he said tonight we are going to be watching this film. And after that, he had seen it, and I think that is when he tweeted."
