Salman Khan
After the Arjun Kapoor-starrer 'India's Most Wanted' (2019), there was talk that Raj Kumar Gupta's next would be the second outing of 'Raid' (2018) with Ajay Devgn. Looks like the writer-director has put on hold the idea to turn it into a franchise. If industry sources are to believed, Gupta is in talks with Salman Khan for a biopic on RAW agent Ravindra Kaushik, better known as Black Tiger. He is regarded as the country's top-notch spy, who penetrated the ranks of the Pakistan armed forces. What's adding to the buzz is that if things work out, it will be Salman's first biopic.
Gupta is said to have been researching Kaushik's life for a while. Khan plays a RAW agent in the Tiger franchise as well. In 2012, Kaushik's family had claimed that the story of 'Ek Tha Tiger' appeared to be based on his life and asked the makers for credit. We guess Gupta has already secured the required permission.
Salman Khan is now keen to play a real-life hero. Considering his busy date diary, Salman is trying to juggle his dates. There's 'Tiger 3', another season of 'Bigg Boss', Farhad Samji's next, 'Kick 2' and the remake of the South film 'Master'. There is already buzz that Salman intends to launch the first poster and title of Farhad Samji's next on the occasion of Bakri Eid on July 21. While the film was earlier titled 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali', it has been rechristened 'Bhaijaan' for now and also stars Pooja Hegde, Aayush Sharma, Zaheer Iqbal and Asim Riaz. Salman is also in talks with Sooraj Barjatya for his next film. Khan also has Mahesh Manjrekar-directed 'Antim: The Final Truth'. The film is a Hindi adaptation of Marathi hit, 'Mulshi Pattern' (2018) and it also stars Aayush Sharma.
