Saiyami Kher
Despite earning positive reviews, Ghoomer didn't set the cash registers ringing when it hit the marquee in August. The sports drama, which saw Saiyami Kher play a para-athlete, got swept as Gadar 2: The Katha Continues took the box office by storm at the time. But a good movie outlives its theatrical run. With R Balki's directorial venture dropping on ZEE5 yesterday, Kher hopes the film will be embraced by viewers.
A still from Ghoomer
"Balki sir released the film in theatres because we wanted the audiences to experience it on the big screen. Whoever saw it then, appreciated it. I'm glad it can now reach a wider audience," shares the actor. To Kher, it will always remain her most special role. "It will be difficult to get something this exciting soon."

That said, she is working on another exciting project - Neeraj Pandey's Special Ops 2. The unit is currently filming the spy thriller in Georgia. Shooting away from home means that she will miss Diwali celebrations. "I usually celebrate Diwali with my parents in Nashik, but we're shooting this time. I'm doing more action sequences this season. So, there will be fireworks of a different kind in front of the camera," she laughs.
