It's not usually 'like father, like son'; in the case of Sara Ali Khan and Saif Ali Khan, it is 'like father, like daughter.' The actress is a lot like her father and they share many common interests and passions. For instance, reading books, their interest in history and so on.
Sara Ali Khan is undoubtedly one of the most-loved actresses on the block. She managed to win hearts with her debut film, and within a month of Kedarnath, she had her second big release - Simmba. Not only the audience, but dad Saif is also very proud of Sara's choices.
While there are assumptions of star kids having an air around them given their background, the case is drastically different in Sara's case. Her father Saif also feels the same about her. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the Laal Kaptaan actor said, "I thought she was really good in Kedarnath and making interesting choices within the scene. The thing I like the most about Sara, not as my daughter but as a personality, is her strong sense of humility and being down to earth that comes across that makes me support her and, I think, everyone feels that way."
Talking about Sara Ali Khan, after winning hearts with Kedarnath and Simmba, she is now working with Varun Dhawan on the Coolie No 1 remake. The original film (1995) featured Karisma Kapoor and Govinda. The common factor between these two movies is its director David Dhawan. He helmed the original film as well. This film marks the 45th film directed by David Dhawan in Bollywood.

Coolie No 1's shoot began in Bangkok and the mahurat clap was given by Varun's mother, Karuna Dhawan. The next schedule of the film was filmed in Mumbai's Filmistan studio. Unfortunately, a fire broke out on the sets, and thankfully, there were no casualties. It also remains the first film to go plastic-free.
On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan also has an Imtiaz Ali film opposite Kartik Aaryan. The movie is a modern reboot to her father Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone's film, Love Aaj Kal (2009).
