Saif Ali Khan undergoes tricep surgery for old injury, actor says he is in 'amazing surgical hands'

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital on Monday, January 22nd. The Vikram Vedha actor has undergone a tricep surgery for an old injury. Reportedly, Saif's wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan are by his side in the hospital.

Earlier, there were reports that Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital for a knee injury, but now his team has shared an official statement stating, "Saif Ali Khan recently underwent a tricep surgery for an old injury that got triggered while performing an action sequence for his latest movie. He is now well on his way to making a speedy recovery." The news of his admission had sent a wave of sadness among his fans, who are wishing for his speedy recovery.

The actor has also shared his health update and said, "This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern."

Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in Om Raut's Adipurush, made a return to Koffee with Karan's couch recently. The actor was accompanied by his mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, who spilled spicy secrets about the Pataudi Nawab.

On the personal front, Saif Ali Khan was married to Amrita Singh before Kareena Kapoor. While discussing it on the Koffee couch, Sharmila Tagore revealed that the actor married Singh without informing anybody. The actress shared, "I was visiting Mumbai so Saif came to me and said I have something to tell you and then he told me. And then of course... I don't know what I was doing but I was quite and he says, Amma, your colour is changing, you're looking different ' and I said, 'Okay, we'll talk about it later. And then when he left I ran up to Tiger and told him. There was also a long silence on that part and then we left it at that and I said, I would like to meet her. "

To note, Saif and Amrita have two kids together, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. The two actors co-parent their kids. While Sara Ali Khan is one of the most loved actresses, Ibrahim is yet to make his Bollywood debut. According to reports on Pinkvilla, Karan Johar is all set to produce a rom-com for Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and Boney Kapoor's daughter, Khushi Kapoor.
