Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam's OMG 2 is inching closer to its release date. According to reports, the Amit Rai directorial is around sex education. Ahead of the release, a special screening was hosted for Sadhguru at his Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Akshay was with him at the screening.
OMG 2 has secured an Adult Only certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with no cuts and 25 modifications. The film will be released in the UAE with a 12A certificate which means anyone aged 12 or over can go and see the film unaccompanied. Reacting to a tweet regarding OMG 2's certification, Sadhguru shared his interpretation of 'A' certificate.
He tweeted, "'A' Certificate in this case should include Adolescents. That's where it matters most. Education about understanding human biology and responding to the biological needs of an individual in a dignified and responsible way is very needed to build a Nation that is Fair & Just to all involved. -Sg"
Akshay reacted to it and commented, "Thank you so much @SadhguruJV. Hope the message reaches far and wide, in the right spirit."
After watching OMG 2, Sadhguru shared his thoughts on the film. Posting a video of playing frisbee in the garden with Akshay, he wrote, "Namaskaram @akshaykumar. Wonderful having you here at the Isha Yoga Center & learning about âOh My God -2'. Educating young people on how to handle their bodily needs is most essential if we want to cultivate a society that is sensitive to the safety & dignity of its women. It is time our education system focuses on equipping our youth to handle their body, mind & emotions rather than being purely information oriented. -Sg"
Akshay thanked him by saying, "Namaskaram @SadhguruJV. Was an absolute honour to visit the Isha Yoga Center. I had one of the best experiences ever. Thank you for watching OMG 2 and for your insightful, kind feedback. Means so much to me and my entire team that you liked and blessed our effort."
OMG 2 features Akshay Kumar as the messenger of God who comes to Earth to help Lord Shiva's devout follower Kanti Sharan Mudgal (Pankaj Tripathi).
