Sanjay Leela Bhansali put down the director's hat to play peacemaker on the set of Padmavati, when a brawl between Ranveer Singh's driver and bodygard brought shooting to a standstill. According to an entertainment portal, the driver got into a scuffle with the security person after he demanded to meet Singh's manager to settle his payment, amounting to Rs 85,000.

The manager, who was in no mood to pay heed to the request, demanded that the bodyguard escort him from the set, which led to an altercation. The scuffle ended in the driver losing his job, we hear.
