Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor rang in his 33rd birthday in London on the sets of his upcoming Karan Johar-directed film 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

The actor is shooting for the movie with his 'Bombay Velvet' co-star Anushka Sharma. The film also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Karan shared on Instagram a picture of Ranbir cutting the cake on the sets. "karanjohar#happybirthdayranbir #onset #aedilhaimushkil," the filmmaker captioned the picture.
The actor's proud parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor took to social media to show their love for him. While Rishi changed his Twitter display picture to a fan-made sketch of Ranbir, Neetu extended her best wishes for him on Instagram.

Rishi tweeted, "Happy Birthday, Lata Mangeshkarji and the late Shaheed Bhagat Singhji! Rima, my sister and son Ranbir share their birthday too. Be proud of it!"
He has also been re-tweeting Ranbir's pictures and sketches shared by his fans.
Neetu, who is by the actor's side in the UK capital, posted a throwback photo of herself with kids Ranbir and Ridhima. "Happy Birthday Rana !!! Wish u happiness n my blessings always. I have been sending all your msges to RK!!! He is very touched and has thanked everyone," she captioned the cute picture.
She also shared a picture of herself with sister-in-law Rima and Ranbir on the eve of their birthdays. "Birthday eve of my two favs !!! Rima n RK," the veteran actress captioned the photograph.
Ranbir, who made his Bollywood debut with 2008 film 'Saawariya', is said to be one of the most successful actors of today, courtesy his stellar performances in hits like 'Wake Up Sid', 'Rockstar', 'Barfi!' and 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'. Currently reeling under the pressure of a few flops, the actor awaits two big releases-- Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' and Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos'. He will also be seen in actor Sanjay Dutt's biopic. If not his movie, the actor's personal life has managed to keep him in news.
