In recent times, Ramayana has become one of the most talked about projects and with Ranbir Kapoor and Yash coming on board, there's only so much that everyone's been talking about. It was back in 2020 that Madhu Mantena first confirmed his plans on the Indian epic along with Nitesh Tiwari directing the film. And now, reports have it that the movie is all set to go on floors in early 2024 with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
The report in Pinkvilla revealed how the team has been working actively on creating the world of Ramayana and the blueprint is finally all ready. Further, the report also added how the VFX plates are prepared by the Oscar Winning Company, DNEG and it's a world that would blow away the minds of audiences.
Meanwhile, the report also quoted the source as saying, "However, the strength of Ramayana won't be the visual but the simplistic storytelling and compelling inter-character emotions."
While Ranbir Kapoor will take on the role of lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will be seen donning the role of Sita Maa in the movie. Yash, meanwhile, will be seen playing Ravana, an actor everyone is excited to see delve deep into the epic and with an interesting cast.

The report further quoted the source revealing how Ranbir and Sai will start shooting around February 2024 with the first part of this trilogy being more about Lord Ram and Sita, eventually taking us to the story around the conflict of Sita Haran, Yash, meanwhile, will shoot for his portions in July 2024.
The actor will be seen donning an extended role in Ramayana: Part One, however, he will take over full-fledgedly from the second part onwards which will be shot in Sri Lanka. The actor will be shooting for the first part for around 15 days.
The cast has done the look test and everyone's excited to see what Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar will bring to the screens with this epic.
