Businessman Raj Kundra, husband to actress Shilpa Shetty, has finally removed his mask for good. Over the past several months, Kundra was seen in public spaces wearing unique masks that covered his face. He began wearing a face mask after his jail term as an undertrial at the Arthur Road jail. He was accused in a pornography case.

On Thursday morning, Raj Kundra was spotted by the paparazzi at the airport without his famous mask. He was seen walking calmly towards the airport while interacting with the paps. When the paps loudly noticed the lack of mask, a happy Raj Kundra said, "Feels good, fresh air", while taking in a fresh breath of air. Kundra was seen in a black t-shirt and overcoat with blue denims. As he walked towards the airport, the paparazzi complimented the trailer of his biopic to which he thanked them all.

Raj Kundra was also seen carrying a backpack that read 'UT 69', the title of his biopic, and the release date of the film, November 3, 2023.

Raj Kundra, who will be acting in his biopic, launched the trailer of the film in the city on Wednesday. At the trailer launch event, he also removed his mask and spoke to the media about the events that led to the making of the film. "The film is about my 63 days in the jail, from the day I entered that red gate to the day I came out. If Shilpa and I believed that if there was even an ounce of truth in the allegations and if I was guilty then I would have my head hanging in shame. But I came out like a lion because I knew I had done no wrong. The matter is subjudice, we have full faith in the judiciary."

Talking about how UT 69 is a satirical comedy based on true events in his life, Raj said, "When you bring a British citizen to the jail, everything becomes funny - the way you're given your food, watered down dal, the place to stay, it was tough. Even when I was writing it, I was wondering how did we reach here."
