Saria has shared a special relationship with the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. His directorial debut, the indie road romantic drama Loev (2015), premiered at the First Feature competition, and his psychological thriller short film, Knock Knock Knock, had its European Premiere at Tallinn in 2019 in the Homecoming section. Saria has also served on the juries for the First Features and the Estonian Film competition sections at the festival's 20th edition.

Saria says, "Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is the birthplace of my cinema. My debut feature Loev took flight there and set me on my cinematic journey. Since then, all my films have played there, and I also had the honour to serve on its juries in 2016. So, I'm thoroughly delighted that Sanaa has been invited. I'm really looking forward to this year's edition of the festival."
Madan adds, "Sanaa transformed me as a person and an actor. I'm thrilled with the news of our film having its world première at the festival that is among the most reputed in the world. I cannot wait to bring the film to audiences."
Saria was recently announced as the director of the female-led espionage drama titled Ulajh. He is also writing, co-directing and show-running an Amazon Prime show.
