Mannara Chopra is one of the participants of Bigg Boss 17. Hosted by Salman Khan, the show went on air on October 15. In a few days, the actress is making headlines and winning hearts with her personality. For the unversed, Mannara is Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Parineeti Chopra's cousin.
While Mannara is locked inside the house, her cousin Priyanka wished her for the show on Instagram. Sharing an unseen picture with Mannara, she wrote, "Throwback to little Mannara Chopra. Good luck little one."
Mannara was formerly known as Barbie Handa. She is Priyanka and Parineeti's aunt's daughter. She has acted in South films. Mannara starred in the Telugu film Rouge (2017) directed by Puri Jagannadh, Anubhav Sinha's Zid (2014), Prema Geema Jantha Nai (2014), Jakkanna (2016), Thikka (2016) and Sita (2019).

Before Bigg Boss 17, Mannara made headlines for a kissing controversy. At the promotional event of Thiragabadara Saami, she was forcibly kissed on her cheeks by the director, AS Ravi Kumar. The video went viral and netizens slammed him.
When the paparazzi asked her about the incident at the airport, Mannara said, "Whatever news is getting viral, I think the director loved my work in the film. They keep calling me even when we are not shooting. I think he just got over excited. I was taken by surprise by the way the video picked up." She added, "My film is releasing. It is a good film and I am so looking forward to its release. Whatever the incident was, he just did out of excitement. There are times when people get excited and don't realise what they are doing. I have always loved the South industry. People have always loved me there. I don't think he had any wrong intentions."
At the premiere episode too, Mannara reacted to the kiss controversy and shared with Salman, "There was no harmful intention behind the director's kiss. He was just excited as they were meeting after a long time and the two of them had grown closer as friends during their time together. "
Mannara is currently winning hearts on Bigg Boss 17.
