Prabhas
Prabhas, whose previous works have included high-octane action sequences, says he wanted to try something different when his latest release, Radhe Shyam, a love story, came his way.
The Baahubali star says Radhe Shyam is India's first film with retro visuals. "I wanted to do something different, and not [related to] action. I want to experiment [with my films] in the future. We thought we'd do a love story, or something else. I heard four scripts, and decided to do this one," said Prabhas, who is the first south Indian star to have a wax sculpture at Madame Tussaud's museum.
The actor, 42, knows that it is a Herculean task to live up to those expectations. "The promos have received a good response. After being deferred on three occasions, the film is finally going to release. I hope it works," he adds. Radhe Shyam follows Prabhas's acclaimed turn in the Baahubali franchise, which established his place as a pan-India actor.
