Talking about her second Hollywood biggie, as stated above, she will not only star in the untitled cross-cultural romantic comedy but will also co-produce it with STXFilms, and Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen's Temple Hill Productions, who previously backed The Fault in our Stars (2014) and the Twilight franchise. Earlier this week , the announcement was made by STXFilms chief Adam Fogelson. "Deepika is enormously talented with an infectious personality and her profile continues to grow as an international superstar. We believe this project gives us the opportunity to tap into the spirit, voice, characters and vibrant settings of India and New York in ways that made Crazy Rich Asians [2018] feel so authentic and fresh," said Fogelson.
Kaif , on the other hand, is gearing up for âTiger 3'. The third film of the franchise is directed by Maneesh Sharma. For Kaif, professionally, the third part of the Tiger Series, a whodunnit with Vijay Sethupathi and Sriram Raghavan await her. What also awaits her is her Superhero trilogy with Ali Abbas Zafar that will directly stream on Netflix to gage a global audience. She's also in talks with Zoya Akhtar for a gangster drama supposedly opposite Ranveer Singh. The horror-comedy âPhone Bhoot' is already on its way that also stars Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Plus, she's also gearing up for a cinematic road trip with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra titled 'Jee Le Zaraa' that's directed by Farhan Akhtar.
