Sanjay Dutt is geared up to kick off 2022 with mammoth releases like Prithviraj and KGF 2. The superstar is excited that the buzz around the historical Prithviraj already has fans curious. Rumoured to play a warrior named Kaka Kanha, who would come to life only when he goes to war, fans speculate that Dutt's character in the film will be intriguing.

To play the complex role, the makers required an experienced actor who could switch between the complex layers of the character, and Dutt seamlessly fit in the actioner. Omnipresent in the teaser with his towering presence, Dutt is considered the trump card in the Akshay Kumar-starrer. Playing a character that is battling with rage, the actor aces the part of a hardcore warrior who was decreed to be blindfolded unless he went to battle. A source, in the know, tells us, "He is practically playing blind and that requires guidance. His character is blindfolded for most part of the film. He trained with a coach who helped him nail the psyche, demeanor and the walk of a blind man."

On the personal front, having completed his shoots, the actor flew out before New Year's to spend the holiday season with family and friends in Dubai.
