Parineeti-Raghav Wedding: Sania Mirza shares picture of customised handkerchief handed out to guests

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha recently tied the knot in Udaipur'a Leela Palace. Family and close friends of the couple graced the wedding. Former tennis star Sania Mirza who is a close friend of the actress was also in attendance at the wedding along with her younger sister Anam Mirza. On Saturday, she took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of photos which also included pictures from the lavish wedding.

Captioned as "September Photo Dump," Sania shared a photo of a customised handkerchief handed to the guests in Udaipur. In the photos, Sania was seen holding a plastic basket full of flower petals, a hand fan, and a white handkerchief with a message attached to it. The message read, "Should our wedding cause you to shed a tear, use this handkerchief to make it disappear."

Earlier, Sania had shared a picture of her and Anam posing with the newlyweds at their reception after the wedding. Congratulations to my dearest @parineetichopra and @raghavchadha88. May your new chapter be as beautiful as your wedding was. love you always Parriii .. Agguuu forever."

On Friday, Parineeti shared a video showcasing happy moments from her wedding with Raghav. The wedding video begins with the groom getting dressed for his baarat. A boat was decorated for the baarat. As he entered the wedding venue, Raghav couldn't stop looking at his bride who wanted to keep her look a secret. Parineeti engages in a playful hide-and-seek game with her groom.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Parineeti wrote, "To my husband …The most important song I've ever sung .. walking towards you, hiding from the baraat, singing these words … what do I even say .. O piya, chal chalein aa."

After the wedding, Parineeti and Raghav released a joint statement, expressing gratitude towards everyone for blessing them. The note written on behalf of Parineeti read, "Raghav and I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We are bursting with gratitude for the outpour of love and warm wishes. While we may not have had the chance to respond to each and every message personally (life's been a whirlwind, as you can imagine), please know that we've been reading EVERYTHING with joy in our hearts."
