Abhishek Bachchan shared the first look of his character in the upcoming social comedy, Dasvi. What caught our eye is his name on the motion poster - it reads Abhishek A Bachchan. Celebrity numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani has a reason to cheer. He has been suggesting that Junior B add âA' to his name to overcome âobstacles' in his career. Will the actor now add it on his social media handles as well?

The film also stars Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam. Talking of Gautam, she has taken the method route for her role as a Haryanvi girl in Dasvi. She is taking lessons in the Haryanvi language as well as honing her dialect, and also working on nuances of body language for the role. "This is the first time that I will be playing a Haryanvi character on screen. It is a completely different challenge for me," Yami told IANS.
"I am currently working on the language. I love taking up new challenges that help me push my creative horizons. I hope I can surprise my audience," she added about the film.
Yami has also been roped in for Faraar directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, who earlier helmed Pink. She will also be seen in Behzad Khambata's A Thursday, which will mark her debut in the OTT space. She has three more projects in hand.
Abhishek plays the character of Gangaram Choudhary, while Yami acts as a uniformed police official Jyoti Deshwal. A huge crowd of fans has been following the actors, forcing the local police and the PAC to provide security cover.
The shooting is expected to continue for a month at different locations in Agra. Abhishek has already released his first-look photos on social media.
