Bobby Deol did an RT-PCR test on Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya co-star Aishwarya Rai in 1997; over two decades before it became a part of people's daily lingo. A section of netizens are convinced that Lord Bobby (as they are referring to him) was ahead of his times. In one of the scenes in Rahul Rawail's directorial venture, he is seen inserting a swab in Ash's nose.

Bobby Deol has been in Bollywood for over 25 years, and his career got a big push when he bagged the lead role in the 2020 web series Aashram. Last year, the actor starred in the digital film, Class Of '83. Then, he went on to play a conman disguised as a godman in Prakash Jha's Aashram season 2. He has several projects lined up in the coming year, Apne 2 with father Dharmendra, brother Sunny Deol and nephew Karan Deol. He will also star in Animal alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra.
