Neha Dhupia teams up with Kajol for Ela

Life has come a full circle for Neha Dhupia. Before Bollywood beckoned, Pradeep Sarkar directed her in a music video. Yesterday, the actor joined the cast of Sarkar's Ela, which stars Kajol in the pivotal role. "I'm looking forward to working with Kajol too, who plays the protagonist in the film. She's an effortless actor. She plays Eela, which is also the tentative title of the film," said Neha.

In the film, Neha plays a drama instructor called Padma. While the shoot of the movie has already begun, the 37-year-old actor will be joining the team later this month. Kajol plays a single parent in the film, which revolves around the relationship shared by a mother and son.

The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, who was her co-actor in her Bollywood debut, Qayamat (2003). After Qarib Qarib Singlle and Tumhari Sulu last year, Neha is back in the reckoning. She also features in Karan Johar's short film, which is part of Bombay Talkies 2.
