Nawazuddin Siddiqu and late Sridevi
When it comes to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, you can expect the unexpected. That's what the actor appears to have done with Tiku Weds Sheru. Yesterday, he was shooting for the film in Goregaon, and mid-day got its hands on his unconventional look. With the actor dressed in a shimmery golden gown, complete with a tiara and long hair, it was evident that the look is inspired by the late Sridevi's iconic avatar in Hawa hawai from Mr India (1987).
On digging further, we found out that the look has been created for a song in the Kangana Ranaut production. A source reveals that Bosco Martis is choreographing the number that comes at a crucial juncture in the narrative. "Female lead Avneet Kaur's character is shown to be kidnapped by goons. Nawaz's character dons this unlikely look as he sets out to give the goons a slip and save her. It took the make-up and styling team four hours to get Nawaz ready," says the source.
