Mrunal Thakur and Guru Randhawa
On Tuesday, Mrunal Thakur began shooting for the music video, Abhi na chhodo mujhe. The track is rendered by Guru Randhawa who also features in the video.
Much like the 90s, music videos are back in fashion. And the newest actor to join the bandwagon is Mrunal. As the makers were keen on a snowy backdrop, the unit has made their way to Kashmir. The romantic song features the Super 30 (2019) and Batla House (2019) actor in a glamorous look, which she hasn't donned on the big screen yet. Randhawa has also collaborated with Dil Bechara (2020) actor Sanjana Sanghi for Mehendi wale haath, which releases this week.
A source says, "The final track in the process of mixing. Mrunal has been approached for the video to be shot over two days at an exotic location. The video will feature her in an ultra-glamorous look which she hasn't donned for the silver screen yet. Known to have a keen eye for fashion, the actress in recent times has walked the ramp for notable fashion designers. It will star her in a bold look, upping the sizzle and oomph of the video itself."
On the film front, Mrunal has around five movies lined up in 2021. Her roster this year includes the cricket drama Jersey opposite Shahid Kapoor, and the boxing flick Toofan co-starring Farhan Akhtar. She also has the comedy Aankh Micholi with Abhimanyu Dasani, besides a couple of projects that are to be officially announced. The actress will begin shooting for a couple of these projects through January and February.
